One of my favorite crochet projects to work on is the humble and sweet crochet baby blanket. Not only are baby blankets adorable, but they’re also super quick and easy to make.

Learn how to crochet a baby blanket and it just might become an heirloom. They mean the world to the parents who receive your beautiful gift and will likely treasure their beautiful blanket for years to come. I had a family member give us a handmade crochet baby blanket when my daughter was born and it was one of the most precious gifts that we received.

This Cross-Over stitch crochet blanket is super easy to make and like many of my patterns, once you get started, you can practically make it with your eyes closed.

P.S. If you love working with the cross-over stitch, check out my popular cross-over stitch infinity scarf.
