Elizabeth Stitch Boot Cuff Crochet Pattern

Skill Level: Intermediate 

Materials: 

Yarn: 
150 yds worsted weight yarn 

Hook: 
US size J/10 (6mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge 

Notions: 
Scissors 
Tapestry needle 

Size: 
Circumference: 13.5 inches 
Height: 5.5 inches 

Gauge: 
7 sc = 2 inches 

Pattern uses US crochet terms.

Special Stitches: 

Elizabeth Stitch: Insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a loop (2 loops on hook), yo (3 loops on hook), insert hook in same st, yo, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook), yo and pull through all 4 loops on hook, ch 1. When you work into an Elizabeth Stitch on the next row, work into the top of the stitch and not the ch 1.

Make 2. 

Row 1: Ch 48, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc into each ch across, turn. 47 sc

Rows 2 – 12: Ch 1, sc into each st across, turn. 

Row 13: Ch 3 (does not count as a st), Elizabeth stitch in the first sc, [skip 1 sc, Elizabeth st in the next sc] across, turn. 44 Elizabeth stitches 

Rows 14 – 22: Ch 3, Elizabeth Stitch in each Elizabeth stitch across to the last Elizabeth stitch, skip last Elizabeth stitch, Elizabeth stitch into the top of the turning ch, turn.

Finishing

Fold in half and stitch together using the whip stitch.
