The aligned cobble stitch has become one of my favorite crochet stitches in the last little while. It’s easy, fluid, and mixes well with other stitches, as is the case for this crochet pattern.
While row upon row of aligned cobble stitch is nice, I wanted this stitch to have a little more dimension and interest. Adding a row of nicely laid out double crochets gives this crochet infinity scarf a lighter look and feel…exactly what I was after.

This crochet pattern is fun and the constant change up with row stitches helps to make it a more interesting scarf to crochet. But don’t worry, it’s still pretty easy to crochet, making it another great crochet project for beginners.
