If you love trying out new crochet stitches, you're going to love working up this cowl. Crocheting it is easy and fun because this crochet scarf uses the moss stitch. The crochet moss stitch is textural and forms a squishy fabric, perfect for cozying up.
I love working on crochet scarf patterns during the winter. It's a great way to pass the time and stay warm. I also give out a lot of scarves as gifts. Once you learn how to crochet a scarf you basically never stop. Just like when you learn the basic crochet stitches, you never stop using them.
This crochet scarf pattern is simple and classic. Just throw it on and go. A cowl neck stays right up against your chin, keeping your neck and face warm. You can even pull the crochet infinity scarf over your head to protect your ears. The moss stitch crochet fabric is extra warm because of its' density. If you love the moss stitch you can also check out our Moss Stitch Beanie Pattern and this great post of 20 of our favorite moss stitch patterns.
You can even make this pattern using different crochet stitches. The versatility of this crochet cowl pattern is what makes it a favorite. Grab your favorite yarn and a matching hook and give it a try. Your neck will thank you the next time a blizzard rolls through.
