Simple Shells Light Wrap Crochet Pattern

Hi all. I wanted to share a recent creation I made.

Sometimes you find the pattern and get a yarn to match. But this time around it was the yarn that inspired my Simple Shells Light Crochet Wrap.

I recently received a ton of yarn as a gift. There were various fiber contents and colors, each kind different from the last. Immediately there was one that stood out to me. It was a beautiful metallic silver yarn. Right off the bat, I had a vision for this particular yarn.

It’s the Ava yarn from Classic Elite Yarns. It’s a blend of viscose, wool, and polyester, and it is perfect for the Simple Shells Light Wrap.

This crochet shawl pattern is really delicate and simple to make. It uses the shell stitch which, paired with the subtle metallic yarn, adds a beautiful textural wave to the wrap.

It’s a lightweight crochet wrap to take on vacations with you or for mild weather. It can also be worn in a variety of ways, so it would be a beautiful holiday gift.

Throw it over your shoulders for an elegant drape or wrap it into a chunky scarf for a cold walk outdoors. It also makes a beautiful crochet prayer shawl.

Make your own shell stitch crochet wrap. It’s perfect for all seasons, fall and summer alike. You can pair it with an elegant evening dress for a show at the theater. Or take it on a nice stroll down the beach.

Whatever your reasons for making this, you’ll enjoy learning a new stitch and creating something so beautiful. Check out the crochet wrap pattern below and see for yourself how easy it is to make.

Easy Modern Crochet Patterns

| Crochet

Beautiful modern crochet patterns. Easy crochet patterns that are quick to work up and make great gifts.

Modern easy crochet patterns from Belle Noelle Creations.

Easy Modern Crochet Patterns – I apologize for my temporary absence but I’ve been away this summer enjoying some much-needed family time at the lake. It wasn’t all fun and games though, I actually managed to squeeze in some work, including something I’m really excited to share. Yesterday I opened a new Etsy shop called Belle Noelle Creations – in honor of the love of my life, my daughter Noelle. The goal of my shop is to offer modern, stylish and easy to crochet patterns. I don’t like to spend a lot of time on a project (what can I say, I get bored easily) so most of my crochet patterns are items that can be made in a day or two. I’ll also be posting some cute kids crochet patterns in the shop shortly.

Hopefully you’ll get a moment to check out my new shop and let me know what you think. I’m appreciative of any feedback you may have.

Everyone loves free giveaways so….the first 30 people who can show me that they’ve pinned the above photo on Pinterest or shared this post on Facebook will receive FIVE FREE CROCHET PATTERNS from me! Just send me a quick email here to show me a link to your pin or post and I’ll send you your free crochet patterns.

Oh, and I’d like to give a huge shout out to my beautiful model and friend Sherri who makes my designs look fabulous!
